Felt Bag Filters are produced with optimum filtration performance in mind. Material selection is made depending on industrial suitability; in this direction, textile products with felt, monofilament and multi-filament structures are selected. In this way, the minimum dust emission levels required by the system and processes can be achieved. These bag filters are used by placing them in dust collectors together with their support cages. Dirty air follows a filtration path from outside the bag filters to inside. While solid particles accumulate on the outer surface of the Bag Filter, clean air passes through the filter surface and rises upwards. The dirt accumulated on the filter surface is collected below the collector by positive air shaking, which is a part of the collector’s working mechanism.
This product, which appeals to a very wide range of uses such as coal power plants, various power plants, cement factories, the mining sector, the glass industry, the sugar industry and all kinds of production facilities where dust is very dense, is produced by shaping the final felt in the form of a roll as a result of special heat treatments of various filter felts. The product, which is prepared in the desired dimensions and qualities according to customer requests, does not have standard dimensions, but it also has various classes according to its resistance to heat, humidity, acid, abrasion, solvents that affect the fibers and many other factors.
