Elastic Polyether Sponges show high resistance to acidic and caustic solutions. Additionally, they are more resistant to hydrolysis than polyester sponges and provide a longer service life. Thanks to a special process called \u201cReticulation\u201d, all pores forming the filter structure are opened to a homogeneous size and form a reticulated structure; thus, a filter structure with different pore sizes from PPI 10 to PPI 80 is created as desired. (PPI=number of pores in 1 inch) One feature of Polyester Sponges is that they are highly resistant to shocks and impacts; they are also less sensitive to light than Polyether sponges; they are not affected.
